Rockfon products can be recycled again and again without any deterioration in quality. In many of our markets we now offer the possibility to recycle old stone wool ceiling tiles or cut-offs from installation. We have established partnerships in many countries, and we can support you with your request for recycling.

The recycled content of the mineral wool core in Rockfon products is >40%. Including facings (paint and glass fleeces) the recycled content of the full product is between 29% and 64% according to ISO 14021. Cradle to Cradle Certified® is a globally recognised measure that credits solutions that leave a positive impact on people and the planet. Over 90 percent of our acoustic solutions are Cradle to Cradle Certified® in either a Bronze and Silver level, which means that when you choose Rockfon you’re getting more than just a great product, you get a real commitment to a more sustainable future.

In 2020 we updated our EPD to reflect more than 10% reduction in our emissions because of improved energy efficiency measures and by investing in renewable energy. Our EPD covers our full portfolio and it is third party verified according to EN 15804. It is available on our website and it can be found in external databases, like IBU (Institut Bauen und Umwelt), EPD Norge, INIES and UL. In order to get product specific information, please use the product scaling formula in the EPD or get in touch with our local support team.
